Exhibition, Year One.
Student Led Exhibition - 2023
Presented as part of a student led exhibition, “To the People That Surround and Create My Home” is an illustration series reflecting on my evolving relationship with the concept of home. Created during my first year studying graphic design, the collection draws from personal experiences of living across multiple cities and balancing the pull of my roots in Ōtautahi, where I lived for 17 years, with the process of building a new sense of belonging and community in Tāmaki Makaurau.
The series features family portraits, cherished objects, and glimpses into the personalities of my close friends. Each piece captures a fragment of the people and places that shape my sense of identity and connection as I navigate early adulthood.

Exhibition, Old Meets New.
Second Year Exhibition – 2024
Exhibited as part of “Old Meets New”, this work reflects on the process of revisiting past creative efforts. I created two large papier-mâché envelopes to display illustrations from my first attempt at the Peachtober art challenge, through this I was able to give physical form to a body of work that had previously only lived digitally.
Accompanying the envelopes was a letter that explored my personal experience with the challenge, unpacking the pressures, joys, and learning moments that came with creating daily. By transforming these past illustrations into a new format, the work gave old ideas a renewed voice.

Dreaming of...
Acrylic and Ink on Canvas - 2023
Dreaming of... is an abstract landscape painted with acrylic and ink, capturing the feeling of slipping into a memory. Lush greens, flowing water, and layered textures suggest a dreamlike escape into nature, part real, part remembered.

Ebb
Acrylic on Canvas - 2025
Ebb maps the Tāmaki Estuary from above, a living body in motion.
She is dynamic and ever-changing, moving with the tides, branching off into creeks and rivers. This work reflects and encodes water quality findings through hue, each colour corresponding to data and the ecological state of the estuary, warmer tones indicating higher pollution levels. The painting becomes a portrait and system, combining real life data and expressive brush strokes to invite viewers to consider how art can be informed by place, science and feeling.
